Here are some books and magazines available to Club FEM members:

"The FemDom Experience"
written by Elise Sutton

"The FemDom Experience" is separated into three sections; the professional experience where a man submits to a Dominatrix; the relationship experience where a man submits to his wife or significant other; and the group experience where a man submits to an assemblage of women in a club or organization. The summation of the three sections is an absorbing journey into the real world of female domination as it is practiced in the United States and Europe.

The Sexually Dominant Woman
by Lady Green

Billed as "A Workbook for Nervous Beginners," this revised and updated 86-page book offers a light-hearted, simple introduction to dominance for women. For someone who has an interest in playing the dominant role, but isn't sure where to begin, this book provides a good basic roadmap. Retail info here.

(Thin book for beginners. Way too basic for Me but novices such as vanilla wives who are just finding their dom side might find it useful. -Mistress Lisa)

"The Art of Sensual Female Dominance:
A Guide for Women"

by Claudia Varrin

The Art of Sensual Female Dominance is an introduction to a different, more daring love-style. Leather one night, lace the next, D&S can provide the techniques and confidence to turn you into a different woman every night, the possibilities limited only by your imagination. "Family Jewels: A Guide to Male Genital Play and Torment"

This book has well-organized anatomical information, equipment details, and "recipes" for Cock and Ball Torture scenarios. It's very thorough and very comfortable to read. When expanding your erotic repertoire, nothing can replace actual hands-on learning and practice, but this book can send you on your way. It's also an excellent reference text of sorts, to answer questions for the leery, or it can be an easy way to introduce your hesitant friend to the world of CBT. Retail info here.

"The Mistress Manual"
by Mistress Lorelei

"The Good Girl's Guide to Female Dominance. A great book from an experienced practitioner. The main sections are: Becoming a Mistress (including chapters on Why Become a Mistress, The Reluctant Mistress, Maintaining your Relationship); The Mistress in Action (includes Asserting Your Dominance, The Art of Discipline); The Five Archetypal Fantasies (The Nursemaid, Governess, Queen, Amazon, and Goddess); and Ten Rules for a Successful Mistress. This well-written book goes into depth in examining dominance from the woman's point of view, and covers psychological and technical aspects with a special focus on how to deal with submissive men."

-Available to be lent out-. Retail info here.

"Miss Abernathy's Concise Slave Training Manual"
by Christina Abernathy

"Published by Greenery Press, publishers of S/M 101 and The Sexually Dominant Women's Workbook and other titles, this manual offers expert advice on the training of a slave. Great ideas about voice commands, body positioning, what to look for in a submissive, full time relationships, etc. 87 pages including a resource guide.

A good introduction to training a slave. A thin book and very easy to read. Do not let the cover fool you...it is easily adaptable to training male submissives as the book doesn't mention gender much. It covers the very basics of slave training.

"How to Make Your Man Behave in
21 Days or Less Using the Secrets of
Professional Dog Trainers"

by Karen Salmansohn

Basically a small book with tips on training men or dogs. It is meant to be funny with humorous illustrations. Just so you know, it is NOT a "I hate men and they are dogs" book, it's a "here's something to make you laugh" book.

One reviewer said: "With slick artwork, and smart and funny one liners, this book is a total joy for anyone who has had man problems. The comparisons of men to dogs is so uncanny, it's truly funny."

"When God was a Woman"
by Merlin Stone

"Here is an invitation to discover a past that has been buried by millennia of Judeo-Christian myth and corresponding social order. Merlin Stone tells us in facinating detail, the story of the Goddess, who known by names such as Astarte, Isis and Ishtar, reigned supreme in the Near and Middle East. There She was revered as the wise creator and the one source of universal order, not simply as a fertility symbol as some histories would have us believe. And under the Goddess, societal roles differed markedly from those in patriarchal Judeo-Christian cultures: Women bought and sold property, traded in the marketplace and inherited title and land from their mothers.

How did the shift from matriarchy to patriarchy come about? By documenting the wholesale rewriting of myth and religious dogmas, Merlin Stone describes an ancient conspiracy in which the Goddess was reimagined as a wanton, depraved figure, a characterization confirmed and perpetuated by one of modern culture's best known legends - that of Adam and the fallen Eve. Insightful and thought-provoking, this is the essential reading for anyone interested in the origin of current gender roles and in rediscovering Women's power."
