What does ClubFem stand for?

A.   FEM is an acronym meaning "Females Enslaving Males".  The term "club" does not refer to a place or location but an organization of people coming together because of a mutual interest.  We have been asked by some writers where the Club is located because the person asking thought it was a tavern or restaurant or night club.  There may be a ClubFem somewhere but we are not aware of it.

What should I write in my "letter of introduction" in my application?

A.   This is one of the biggest difficulties encountered in the membership process.  The key to a successful letter is brevity.  We often get virtual books or autobiographies from potential members.  No one has time to read all this considering the volume of email ClubFem gets every day.  Don't stress fetish or sexual subjects in this first letter.  Some letters begin to sound like the writer fantasizing on line.  Everyone knows the sensual components of Femdom and there is no need to cover these areas in detail.  BE CERTAIN to include your email address, age and your location when writing.  By "location" we mean your city, state, and country (where applicable). Also specify whether you serving a FemDom currently or not. If not, specify if you have had any sub experience in the past. If you are a FemDom, specify if you have a sub already or not.

Is ClubFEM for couples only?

A.  No.  ClubFem has couples in its membership but there are also single Female and male members. Club FEM is for biological females who are dominant and biological males who are submissive.

What is the age range of ClubFem members?

A. Dominant Women and submissive men come in all ages and so this is reflected in our club. Basically, age does not matter. Maturity/Attitude does. The only rule regarding age is that anyone wishing membership in "ClubFem-South Florida"must be at least 21 and this must be verified.

How should I conduct myself at a "ClubFem-South Florida" party or meeting?

A.   This is a real concern among new members.  The answer is quite simple.  Respectfully.

Munches/meetings at public restaurants-
Show respect and discretion since it is in a public restaurant and we would like to be discreet so as to not shock the vanilla people around us. Normally we try to have a table away from everybody else so we can talk freely.

Club FEM parties in private homes or locations-
At the beginning, most ClubFem parties look very much like straight or "vanilla" parties.  The same kind of behavior one would expect at a straight vanilla party could be considered at ClubFem.  No drunkenness, loud and obnoxious talking, inviting oneself into others conversations without their permission, and slaves addressing Mistresses with the utmost respect.  When the protocol part of the party begins it will be obvious.  Slaves are expected to all have collars and leashes on and kneeling quietly.  The Mistresses should follow commonly accepted social practices.  Even though ClubFem is about Women being dominant, new Mistresses often feel more comfortable being less obvious and often are quiet and observe the activities before taking part in them.  New Mistresses can sometimes learn by watching a more experienced Domme and this may take place over one or several parties.

What is the proper attire at private parties?

A.    At private parties just for us:
Ask us if you are a member and you are interested in attending a private party.
An example: For slaves it could be collar and leash at all times when protocol is in force.  As to other items of apparel most slaves wear minimal clothing or either leather, panties or thongs.  Basically no shirts for submissive males. And most Mistresses appreciate slaves already having wrist and ankle restraints on for ease of beginning a scene.  Except for collar and leash these additional items are not required initially but should be obtained as soon as possible.  Mistresses have more variety as to what they wear ranging from leather to lace to vinyl to black clothing, depending on their preference. We will talk about this some more once our club grows and we start having private parties. For now, instead ask us what are current clothing policy is.

At munches in public restaurants: (our normal gatherings)
Normal vanilla clothing with all genitals covered is appropriate in public family style restaurants. What you wear under your clothes is up to you or your Mistress. ;)

What sets "ClubFem-South Florida" apart from other fetish groups?

A.   The primary difference is obvious --- ClubFEM is a FEMALE DOMINANT/male submissive group.  Because of this we do not accept dominant males and submissive Females as members.  At a ClubFem party there is no switching of roles and Women are in control at all times.  Most other D/s groups are pansexual, with the majority of the dominant members being male and Women being in the submissive roles. We are instead the ONLY exclusive FemDom/malesub that we know of that is in South Florida.

Club FEM is a relatively small group and could be compared to what it's like to be in a small town versus a large one.  Members often become close friends and do many things together outside the Club parties.  People get to know each other personally and become more like an extended family than casual acquaintances at a party.  Some of the advantages of ClubFem are you can form closer relationships with other members if you so desire and you can learn more quickly about the roles of Mistress and slave due to Club FEM's specific nature.

What is a munch?

A.   A munch is a get together for socializing in a non-threatening atmosphere, usually a public setting. It gives the attendees a chance to meet and greet others in the scene, to renew or begin friendships, to hear about things happening locally, to discuss toys, learn about members, talk about thoughts on Female authority, etc. It usually is a lunch with like-minded individuals and held at a public restaurant. Dress is casual. Our munches happen every third Saturday of each month. For more info on the next one, see our monthly munches page.

About how many members belong to Club FEM-South Florida?

A.   Our club is continually growing. To see a list of members, visit our Member Profiles page. As for people who come out to our events, it varies depending on which month and which city (naples, fort lauderdale or orlando). The number of people who actually come out to our munches or events is usually small and intimate(5-20) as our members are all throughout Florida. But this offers us a good opportunity for members to get to know one another and is great for beginners who might be nervous with big crowds. I encourage people to come out, support our group and have fun meeting other interesting people into female authority.

What cities/locations does Club FEM-South Florida usually meet in?

A.   Our members are throughout south florida so we meet where there's interest. We mainly meet in Naples but also occasionally meet in Fort Lauderdale and Englewood.

What is your policy on transgendered people who want to apply to be members?

A.   Regarding Transgendered (those who identify as the opposite gender than what they're born):
- Basically if you look like and visually pass as a woman and are submissive (hence look like a submissive woman or want to be a submissive woman) then you aren't right for "Club FEM-south florida" and would confuse people in our "Females Enslaving Males" group.
- Or if you look like and visually pass as a man and are dominant (hence look like a dominant man) then you aren't right for "Club FEM-south florida" and would confuse people in our "Females Enslaving Males" group.
-If a woman is legally a woman ClubFEM wouldn't argue that she isn't. If her name was george in the past, but her drivers license says she's a Female, now has a female name, looks like a female and there's no boy parts between her legs, we wouldn't balk at giving her membership as a Domme.

ClubFEM is a specialized group that is gender specific. We want males to be submissive in ClubFEM, and females to be Dominant. We respect whatever roles people want to express elsewhere, but at ClubFEM events there is no confusion.
